Abyss

The Abyss features our widest range of potential graphical options, from the 9060XT 16GB up to the RTX 5080. This is to allow our customers to really control their build based on their available budget. The Abyss is a great base to build a budget system in now with a mid range GPU such as the 5060Ti 16GB, but has everything you would need to be able to swap out your GPU to a 5080 at a moment notice. Please contact us with information about the games you play and we can advise on what GPU option would be best for you.

The 9600X is the current midrange king. It's on the AMD AM5 platform allowing great upgrade options in the future, it has a low total power draw, runs cool, and performs excellently for the price. The majority of your time will be spent with a GPU bottleneck, and all you need is a CPU that can keep up. The 9600X does just that, at a price that doesnt break the bank.

We use the exact same RAM kit in all our builds, from the Void through to the Singularity because it is perfect for AM5 based systems. 32GB is the sweet spot for gaming PCs, and beyond that we believe you want to achieve 6000Mhz speeds and a CAS Latency of 30 or you're leaving performance on the table.

The Power Supply is the bedrock your PC is built on. UmbraForged only ever uses top performing power supplies. We use the SPL PSU Tierlist to evaluate any options and never use anything other than the top tier in our Abyss systems. Other PC builders using C-tier down to F-tier power supplies was the catalyst to UmbraForged existing. To provide an option that didn't cut any corners on component quality and provided customers with a product that they could rely on to perform reliably for years to come.

A good CPU cooler is essential to unlock the full performance of your processor, ensuring stable operation and maintaining low noise levels even under load. For our builds we always select coolers that are more than capable of handling the thermal output of your CPU without compromise. The Thermalright Aqua Elite in the Abyss is a high performance 360mm cooler, which will outperform almost any 240mm cooler easily. The extra performance of a full AIO liquid cooler helps keep the Abyss quiet and cool.
